Mode S Transponder MOPS Test Set

KLJ developed the PC based software used to perform the Minimum Operational Performance System testing on a Mode S transponder per RTCA DO-181A. This software was developed using "C" programming language. The software controls a Mode S signal simulator which provides the required RF stimulus to the Mode S transponder under test. Additionally, the software performs a real-time simulation of a Mode S transponder that allows comparison of actual transponder data with simulated transponder data.
